I recently ended 12 years of fun & games as a preschool teacher. My co-workers were my surrogate family since my family all live out of state. All of my friends, & everyone I know in this town I can directly attribute to this job. Working there gave me a lot of joy, but I knew it was time to move on. I have started another job with similar rewards working with individuals with disabilities.
getting the hang of this. I’ve realized that I cannot get frustrated with people for not being able to read my mind, and I cannot do EVERYTHING myself, so suck it up, buttercup!
I may have to get up 45 minutes earlier, and I had to dust off my iron, but I feel really good about myself when I walk out the door now. No more t-shirts and jeans, except on Fridays, of course!
My daughter’s name is Emily & I thought it would be funny to see how many headlines could also be a description of a person, although my daughter has a kind heart and could never be compared to a hurricane…unless the headlines said something like:”Bedroom Floor Lost in Emily’s Wake”.(NO, this is not her room, thank God!)

The former tenents of our duplex got me started last summer by leaving awesome tomato plants. They must have had excellent soil, because everything I planted this spring is flourishing. It’s just a little one: tomatoes, green beans, bell peppers, & cantaloupe. It’s my first garden & I’m so proud! :D
If you’ve ever had sex, this is sooooo important. It is the best way to show your partner how much you care, but more importantly, it is respecting yourself enough to be sure. Just do it!!!
For the past 10 years I have made all of my daughter’s Halloween costumes. Some are this & that, but most have required some amount of sewing. Two years ago I sewed fabulous vampire costumes for both of us. What an undertaking! But we were two of the foxiest blood-suckers around!
I’ve actually done this twice! First time I think I was too young (19), but I got my daughter out of the deal, and now my ex and I have an unnaturally friendly relationship. At age 30, I found my perfect compliment and look forward to spending the rest of my life with him! I am sooooo madly in love!
It took a long time, but I finally went back to brown. I swear I’ll never color it again, but I’m getting pressure from friends to get hilights…
