Blowing bubbles and playing on the swings in Central Park, eating roasted nuts from stalls on the sidewalks, seeing Rent on Broadway, catching a taxi cab (they are yellow!), catching the subway, visiting the Brooklyn Museum, wandering St Marks Place and just being awesome in general.
New York was amazing.
The tourist areas were overwhelming and crowded, but in general the city is just wonderful.
I lost my mind.
So yesterday I brought a ticket to New York. From Auckland, New Zealand.
I leave on Wednesday the 17th, and I’m travelling half way around the world to meet and stay with somebody who I have never actually met but adore all the same.
