How I did it: I stayed alone for a period long enough to ordinarily make me feel lonely, but then embraced the solitude. When I felt that I was ready, I went to see friends. I partied! How I did it: I was reading a Providence Tour Guide and came across a section on Federal Hill and decided that I would go get an Italian dinner there. I encountered Providence's Little Italy, reached the square where "Caffe Dolce Vita" was, and had Gelato while sitting on the side of the fountain.
