I’ve run several 5K races now. A 10K is my next milestone in physical fitness. After the 10K is complete, a half marathon. Will I run a marathon? no, because i dont see the need to actually run 26.2 miles. I do plan on riding the Seattle to Portland.

Once you can do that, then start increasing your speed for a one mile stint. so you might run mile 1 at 5.0mph and mile 2 at 5.2mph. your goal is to run at 5.5mph for all 3 miles ( that's 11min/mile). The importa… Read how I did it…

I ran the jingle bell this morning. I’ve done 5K’s before, but this morning was brutal. I was strongly tempted to walk in the last mile, but fortunately I resisted. I realize now that the pace I was keeping was much faster than normal. I finished with a time of 33:08.
