So I don’t fit into those jeans just yet. But I’ve lost 10lbs and gone down from an 8 to a 6 (at Old Navy, I don’t know how that’s relative to other brands). AND. My mother bought me some beautiful Silver jeans (pictured above). <3 They are love.

How I did it: A poet (Wendy Morton) came to speak to my English class in 10th grade, and she asked if anyone would like a poem written about them. Loving poetry and writing quite a lot of it myself, of course I said I did. So she sat down with me and told me that she saw in my eyes that I was a poet, and she asked me a few questions about myself. She then wrote my poem. Afterwards, she gave me her book, Shadowcatcher, and told me I didn'… Read how I did it…
How I did it: For a few years, I tried shopping at regular stores. Then, last year, I started shopping at secondhand stores. (Frenchy's, Salvation Army, Value Village.) During the summer, while waiting for a friend at Frenchy's, I found the perfect, most beautiful pair of Levi's I had ever seen. The rest is history. XD Read how I did it…

I’m not even off my anti-depressants and I’m already failing at being happy. I seem to be losing hope and faith in humanity. I still have faith in God, though. I believe he’ll help get me through this. But hope…I’ve learned that it can only ever lead to disappointment.
