I’m getting married in 6 days. My Wife-to-be already owns her own house, we’ll be saving to buy our house once married. I’m now out of debt,and we expect to buy our house a year after getting married.

How I did it: I switched to a credit card with online account access. So I could monitor it all the time and pay off amounts when ever I had some spare money.
