How I did it: I went through de-clutter guidelines for weeks, and learned how to tell the difference between thoughts I could trust, and threw out the thinking that wasn't serving me. Read how I did it…
How I did it: This goal was about 2 things - humor and delayed gratification.I thought at first I would just throw this goal on the list to keep me real to my self. I didn't want to get too much on my plate and not accomplish what I set out to do.The added benefit is that I knew as soon as I accomplished one of my goals - I was really accomplishing 2. I feel good! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I wanted to write my mission statement right after I heard a pastor I admire state, "I ask every person I coach what their mission statement is, and no one has ever had one." I already wanted to write a mission for my life, but that was like a dare. I started thinking about my life and writing down what I wanted that day. That was 4 years ago. This time I felt I had a better idea of where my life was heading, and it was time for an update.… Read how I did it…

I want a deeper richer understanding of my spiritualty. I also want to really know about what I say I believe.
I have to connect to my mission in life before just diving into this goal. The part of my mission I’m refering to is “Spirit led God’s will, God’s way, God’s time.” I do not want to overwhelm myself so I have decided not to re-reading what I’ve already read in the Bible for the sake of sticking to some 2-d “read the Bible in one year” plan.
Last night I turned to Obediah – Minor prophet – 2 page read. He prophesied that God saw injustice that happened to His peopleand God would take care of it in His own way, His own time. God is not blind. God is not heartless.
Anyways, I think what is going to make or break this goal is me getting through Job, Isaiah, and Jeremiah. And the Psalms! I don’t want to just read and not let God’s spirit in these words affect my life.
My goal is not to read the Bible like a book, but to know what God says about Himself and His people.
I started scrapbooking my favorite quotes.
When a man’s fight begins within himself, he is worth something. —Browning
