Well, I know this is something I want to do, but this isn’t the best time for me. I still have personal goals that I need to reach and cant stretch myself thin (another goal of mine). I definitely want to do this in the future, but I don’t want to give a young person who is going to be looking up to me to be involved in their life the feeling that I am too busy for them. I hope within the next couple years I will be in a good position to do this !!!

How I did it: I got divorced, packed his s**t up and put it (nicely) on the front porch! (OK, the site tells me it wants more.. so here goes)... well.. first I moved all his junk that was laying around the house into boxes. How I did it: I got rid of/sold/cancelled anything that was not essential to my life (cable tv, house phone, excess yard watering, anything you can think of). Every dime I brought home, I ensured went to pay off bills. I put my student loans on hold (this is an a-ok thing to do, just contact your student loan holder) and used that extra money to knock out bills. How I did it: Well, at first itwas just a matter of 'walking around the building,' not impressive. Even my ankles hurt. But I slowly kept going until I was going around the building and it got boring, Then i started exploring the neighborhood. Then it was a matter of not wanting to come back to the office, so I would walk farther and farther! Ok, I am an internet addict, and it sucks because I am not even doing anything cool online! I had blocked myself from the popular news sites, and that does work, and slowly I started creeping back into the habit. I also cannot quit looking at houses online! I also am wasting my weekends horribly. BUT, I also know what my goals are for each day, so I end up rushing through things and still accomplishing everything, but I am just leaving myself exhausted in the process. Really need to just ban myself from the internet again and get back to using an egg timer to give myself a time limit to accomplish stuff in. ok, I will keep trying :)
i am going to go to bed now. no internet (which will keep me from sleeping), just a glass of water and a hot shower. lets see if i can wake up at a descent time. i refuse to allow insomnia into my life tonight!! i wish this had spell check. but, off to bed!
