How I did it: For me, learning to be happy meant understanding what happy was. It's a choice. I'd been severely abused as a child and felt lost, even as an adult. Step one was hitting bottom and having no one to help me feel better. That's when I had to deal with it and figure out what I wanted out of life. Step two: Therapy. I have this house in mind that I want to build. It would, of course, be close to the water. I’m thinking maybe a lake that is nearby. And I would like to have a significant amount of land for privacy. Definitely a long term goal!
