... I fell off for a while, but got back into the swing of exercising. I can squat 300lbs. right now, which is an all-time high for me. Hopefully, I can hit 360 by the end of the year.
I am furious about making straight A’s with the exception of the B+ I received in Research Methods of the Behavioral Sciences. I feel compelled to talk to the professor about my grade; to see what the deal really is. Back in undergrad, I would be happy with these grades – but they won’t cut it in grad school. I’m bothered by the possibility that some people were handed higher grades than they deserved, while I feel I was cut short of what I deserved. I had one of the highest scores on the midterm, I attended an extra credit event, never got low marks on the daily assignments, and perform what many classmates deemed to be the best presentation. What made this class so rough is that we had to do everything in groups. It is so hard to work in groups. One of our group members left class and never came back or notified us. I think I might not end up meeting the professor to discuss the grade – because I don’t want to come off as an asshole. There’s a high probability that I will have her in another course.
On the bright side, I beasted Leadership (A+), Theory & Practice (A), and Quantitative Methods/Statistics (A). Not bad for my first semester in grad school.
Technically, a 3.84 is an A or A- GPA on a 4.0 point scale, but I will not count this semester as the straight A semester I sought this past semester.
