Have declined Belfast due to an unforeseen change of circumstances and am reapplying to Universities in London.
I should be moving there next year! :-) 2010 might be the lucky time.

How I did it: We had a christmas fashion show, and her hair had been backbrushed for it. We left it and then I split it into sections, one at a time, twisting the section very tight round my finger and backcombing it with a metal comb. I used wax (rubbed into each dread) to help it hold. We then added beads and knick-knacks in, some sewn in and some simply pushed up the dread until they could not be pulled off/moved.She hasn't washed it (except with no… Read how I did it…
How I did it: During my stay in Russia (after 3/4 days) I took the sleeper train from St Petersburg to Moscow. It was exciting but VERY cramped, and very difficult to lug heavy cases onto. Our suitcases took up the whole carriage - there was no floor! *haha* Also, the armed guards bolt your door, don't open it as there was some shouting outside ours and I think someone was thrown off (not from our party). I arrived still drunk and wearing pyjamas. We went to the biggest hotel… Read how I did it…

Kings – unsucessful
Heartbroken. Will be about another 5 years before I am even close to realising my dream of returning to the hometown I love so well. Oh to walk the crooked, stained pavements and see the orange skies of London.
Now 73,000 words and still unfinished though that’s only due to exams taking up so much time. I plan to complete it in the gap year.
Finally got to the length where publishers consider it “a Novel”, as opposed to a novella or just short fiction. How happifying! Not that I think I’ll try to actually get it published but it makes one feel like they’ve completed some small and strange acheivement.
