If you can make it past the first mile, you can do it! It just takes the first mile to get in the groove and then it will be no problem. A lot of it’s mental. Also, for beginner runners, you can walk (quickly) 5 min and then run 1 minute, alternating back and forth. Eventually work up to running 5, walking 1, and then to running the whole distance.
I was asked to give a speech as a matron of honor. I was incredibly nervous, but it came out perfectly. I was actually surprised!
