How I did it: I read quite a few books. Practiced on the bus, when walking around and before going to sleep. The key word is acceptance. Accepting what happens to me, observing my own reactions and not trying to label everything and everyone. Being in the moment. Sounds easy, but it's not so easy. Read how I did it…
For me it works to decide which days to exercise (Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday are good days) and stick to them. Define what exercise is: for example min 30 minutes, have to break a sweat. ;-)
I started jogging in March, to participate in the 5 km race VĂ¥rruset (=Spring rush) in Stockholm, June 3. My goal was to finish the race in less than 35 minutes.
Now I have succeded! My time was 31 minutes. I’m very proud!
The challenge now will be to continue jogging without any goal. Maybe I have to find another race…
A factor that made it easier for me was that 12 other girls at work also participated. They kept my motivation up during the weeks before.
