it’s just so amazing to open my eyes in the morning and see everything perfectly, instead of stumbling after my glasses!

I’ve booked my surgery for friday the 13th. I’m excited and a bit scared too, but everybody’s telling me there’s no reason for that, so I just can’t wait until friday, wohoo!
I’ve got my drivers license when I was 19 but my dad didn’t trust me to drive his car (and honestly, I didn’t trust my driving skills either), except for the rare times when we were in small towns with barely no cars in it. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I live in one of the cities with most chaotic traffic in the WOLRD! And I was always afraid I’d cause an accident and harm people, so I gave up drivingfor a while.
For two years I’d take TWO HOURS to get to college by bus, until I decided I HAD to overcome my fear of driving. I mean, if every else could learn it, then I couldn’t I?
So I begged my father to let me drive his car and, surprise, after a couple of months, my father said he would buy me a car.
I asked for a used car, this way I wouldn’t be so afraid of scratching it (nor feel so guilty if it happened).
I’ve been driving for 2 months now and it only takes me 40 minutes to get to college, but the best part is the independence feeling it’s given me.
I also go out much more often now since I don’t depend on someone to give me a rid.
I know driving my seem a little hard and scary at first but it’s TOTALLY worth it! Too bad it took me three years to figure that out.
