find a coffee shop where they will know my name
Revised 23 months ago

I don’t drink coffee, so I’m not sure why I wanted to do this, but there is a server at the nearby Applebee’s that remembers my name, so I think that counts. :-)

get over my fear of heights
I'm getting there 23 months ago

This summer, I jumped 30-35 foot into a waterfall while canyoning in the Alps. I’d dare say the fear of heights this is getting better!

visit Switzerland
One of my favorite places in the world! 23 months ago

We went to Switzerland this past summer. I loved spending time in the Alps. We went canyoning and white water rafting. The rafting was so incredibly cold but I think the most exciting thing I’ve ever done in my life. When can I go back???

Visit Germany
Amazing 23 months ago

My husband and I went to Europe this past summer and visited 7 countries. It was amazing to finally see the places I’ve dreamed about all my life. Germany, Switzerland and Austria are on my list of places to visit again!

see the Statue of Liberty
Did it! 23 months ago

My husband and I took a trip this summer and we saw the Statue of Liberty, which was really amazing to me. I could only imagine what it was like when people had been on a ship for so long and then finally saw the Lady of Liberty. It gave me chills.

read the whole Bible (read all 2 entries…)
Done! 23 months ago

I finished the Bible last summer – this time, listening to it on CD while driving. It was different to listen to it rather than read it. There are benefits to both ways.

make homemade beef jerky

Well, I have the dehydrator, but need to get the appropriate recipes and tools for the job. One of these days, I’ll make beef jerky that is MSG free!!

read the whole Bible (read all 2 entries…)
Untitled 4 years ago

I’ve actually done this, but I want to do it again. One of the best feelings I’ve ever had was finishing Revelation and knowing I had read the Bible from start to finish. That was at Bible school and I feel like I was rushing through it during my classes, so now I am trying to read through slowly so I can digest better what I am reading. The Bible I got for this is a Chronological Bible, so it is actually in order of the events, so it will help me to put it all together better.
