Though I certainly had my moments that weren’t totally well, I stayed on a pretty even keel during the move and the unpacking, despite having to travel out of the country in the middle of it.

Though I certainly had my moments that weren’t totally well, I stayed on a pretty even keel during the move and the unpacking, despite having to travel out of the country in the middle of it.
One day at a time. Or. Sometimes. One minute.
The child and I are sitting drinking our morning tea in a mess of boxes full of books. The dogs are disconcerted; Rhys the corgi has to thread his way backwards whenever he gets in among the boxes looking for the ball.
We’re about to go on off; I’m going to drop the child off at his dad’s, and then drive in to the city to do the walk-through of the Victorian Money Pit, and then go sign papers and hand over oodles of money.
and then start playing with the house.
Tomorrow (Friday the 20th) we close on the Victorian Money Pit. (see dining room above) Very exciting. I’m not moving till next week, since before we can move we have to make the house Safe. So, first the electricians, the contractors, the plumbers, the radon fixers. Do they have a name? The Radoneers?
Anyway. Today I’m buying boxes, and the child and I will be packing up his room. And I’ve been selling off books on amazon.com.
