I was looking at some pictures of me and i really feel like my weight has showed up in my face these past months, i have gained, lost, and then gained 8 pounds this year and it is really not healthy. i need to kickstart things but i dont want to burn myself out the way i did. I feel like this standing desk thing will drastically help as my metabolism shuts down sitting at my desk literally all day. I read somewhere that it burns an 40 calories an hour which can add up to a lot every day. If i maybe stand at my computer for 8 hours a day thats 320 calories extra a day and then 2240 a week. in order for me to normally burn an extra 300 id have to spend a half hour at the gym every day of the week. no wonder during the winter i was having so much trouble. i would exercise maybe 30 min 5 times a week and expect to lose a pound and nada. then i would freak and starve myself and then get sick… im so stupid. anyways i hope doing the little things works. ill kick it into high gear once finals are over

going well

been doing my routine for the past few days and im loving it. it usually takes me an hour to an hour and a half depending and it makes me feel super energized for the day ahead!

i have converted to a standing desk. all kinds of studies show that they r good for you so i figured why not! update in a week.

did my morning routine but woke up a bit later than id expected. also i still dont feel like its uplifting enough, i think i need to add more little things like, read the news for 15 min or make eggs. idk it a work in progress

i have been sick

and so this has been really hard. i have been searching for a way to normalize my morning routine. i think i need to write down a strict order of events that i like doing plus a soundtrack of songs that get me going.
