Well, I finally managed to get the largest portion of my debt (about $6500 worth) refinanced to about 6% APR. So, with the payement schedule I’m on I should clear all of my credit card debt in about four years . . . .
However, I did not factor in when I refinanced that my student loans will start requiring payments in less than a month. Also, I have missed a large amount of work because of illness, eating through my safety savings to pay rent and bills, so now I’m back to living off of credit until my health sorts out. Sometimes I wonder if there’s any end to this . . .
I started out my journal last night, because I realize the lack of self-reflection in my life currently and I think it is negatively impacting my mental health. I didn’t write much, because I was totally exhausted from a lack of sleep the night before, but I at least set aside a little time before I passed out. I guess that is the first step in making it into a habit.
