Even if you don’t PLAN on using it, even if you don’t know the first thing about web development, it’s always a good idea to have your own domain. Here’s why:
1. Personalized email (e.g. yourname@yourdomain.com) is very professional looking.
2. You never know what’s gonna happen and when you might need it.

Firefox is a quick, lightweight and standards compliant browser, but things can get way out of hand really fast if you don’t go easy on the extensions.
Too many extensions = slow and cluttered browsing experience.
