visit the new MoMa in NY

traveling with a baby is an experience. we hit the moma after the second night of little sleep, a cross country plane ride, 3 missed trains and a 16 block walk with an unweildy stroller down crowded manhattan streets. it was still incredible. though we didn’t have time to savor everything, we truly relished the highlights and skimmed the rest. the bleery eyes and reeling head just made it that much more transcendent. being exausted and packed in with wall to wall people should have made me crazy, but good art takes my crazy away. the baby was quiet as a mouse and seemed genuinely in awe while she was awkake.



meditate every day

I’ve only missed a handful or days since January-I’m checking it off, but will definately keep it up-it makes a huge difference in my mental stability and quality of life.

it was easy for me 4 years ago

because i don’t wear pretty girl shoes. http://www.vegetarian-shoes.co.uk/ has great quality stuff—especially the ones made with “Vegetan Micro” I have 2 pairs that are just as comfortable as leather and have lasted me 4 years and counting. and now i don’t have to feel sheepish while being the intolerant vegetarian that i am…
