Finished!!!

Yay, finally! We finished the day before she had to leave, so it was all symbolic and everything. I’m now officially an expert on making cranes. No, I not once got bored of making them, in fact it was fabulous for keeping my hands busy, so that I wasn’t fidgeting. And now, I can’t stop. Warning: ADDICTIVE. Seriously, I’m still making them. I’m actually running out of places to put them, so they can now be found all over my house, and… in cups. The 1000 I’m planning to put on string and hang up on the roof of my bedroom. This is highly recommended for anyone who has a lot of unused origami paper!

Hoorah!

Yes, I’ve planned to make 1000 paper cranes with Hitomi who is coming over from Japan to stay at my house for two weeks. 75 each a day is the plan. Ohoho, it’s possible.

All you need is love

Ah, the Beatles are great. Oh, but I think ‘Kathy’s Song’ by Simon and Garfunkel is rather more wonderfully suiting!

“The moment you have in your heart this extraordinary thing called love and feel the depth, the delight, the ecstasy of it, you will discover that for you the world is transformed.”

“It is remarkable how similar the pattern of love is to the pattern of insanity.”
