How I did it: I just called up and cancelled my cable. Thats all it took. I still get the seasons on DVD of my favorite shows (Dexter and Supernatural), but I just watch those on my computer. I have much more time and am doing more outside activities. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Some surf hit the island and I got to take out my board. I got up right away, but the hard part is catching the wave. looking forward to the next time surf hits so I can keep learning. Read how I did it…
So now I’m 24 days in. Its not even hard anymore. I’m getting used to going out with friends and not drinking. I’ve also lost a few pounds too.
So I racked up a ton of credit card debt through college and grad school. I also paid for part of my wedding and honeymoon on credit. Now that I have my first real “career” job I’ve been focused on paying it off. I made a really tight budget and put everything I can on my cards. I’ve paid off one and my wife and I each have one left. We cut up the cards and no longer use them. I’ve been doing this now for 3 months and in 6 months I will be debt free!
