Well, this year I have made a number of knitted beanies – rustic, chunky ones in earthy tones for the hippies, black with silver sequins for the glam girls and loads of baby beanies with pom poms and fun, bright colours. Ooh – as well as a really cute pale orange baby cardigan. Its been really cool to be able to handmake gifts for friends and tailor them specifically to them. I saw a friend that lives in another state – almost a year after I had sent her a scarf for her birthday and she was wearing it when I saw her and said it was her favourite item and she wears it ALL the time. Yay!
I’ve given him the speech on the need for me to be able to dance – particularly at events like weddings etc, so he volunteered to take lessons with me. Now I just have to find the time to research some…
