i stopped when i got into college and realized i no longer had time to study both piano and violin and have time for academics and sports. (overachiever, initially) so i dropped violin after 11 years. damn near broke my heart doing it, but my roommate couldn’t stand the noise. i figured playing a violin is probably around the same as riding a bike. once you know how to do it, you’ll never forget. so now i’m soon to graduate and i’ll have time to pick it up again, hopefully, without the aggravated neighbors. going to need a hell of a lot of practice to get back to where i was though.

had a brief conversation with a classmate before class. we commiserated about presenting on subjects we had hardly prepared to speak on. in truth, i had prepared, but at the last moment forgot what i wanted to say. afterwards, she began talking about clothes and i lost interest.
