How I did it: I've made many zines over the years, but I got out of the habit, and I was struggling to get back into it. Eventually I just said: do it. write a poem, edit a story, complain a little, stick in some pictures, and photocopy it. it took me not even two days once I sat down to it. it's not the best I can do, but I DID it, and now the next one can be better. How I did it: I worked a horrible retail job for eight long months, and barely spent a penny. I didn't completely have this goal in mind the whole time I was doing it, mostly because I didn't think I'd be brave enough. It’s pretty cheap to fly there from here… but I’ve heard it’s pretty expensive over there, at least during the warmer months.
But hey, I’m Canadian, I’m sure I could handle it in the winter. Just not while I’m in school. Unless I come into some money. This probably won’t happen till 2014… but I’m still so pumped for it.

carrots, lettuce, peas, beans, onions, squash, sweet pepper, tomatos, potatoes, herbs, I want to grow everything as soon as I get a place with a garden :)
