With there being only 3 rounds left in the wildly unpredictable Australian NRL competition I had pretty much given up on this one for this season… but I did it! 7 games correct. (As an added bonus it has me a few points in the lead of our footy tipping competition, so I might get $$$ at the end).

I’ve done this successfully a few times now, which is great for my body and my bank balance!
I credit it to the fact I’ve been buying groceries regularly, so generally have ‘meal’ items on hand, and because it’s winter and my flatmate and I are too lazy – and cold – to go down the street to buy anything.
I was walking past a 2nd hand bookshop today and noticed they had BSC books for 50 cents. I spent some time wandering around remembering when they were the ‘in’ thing and each release was excitedly discussed and borrowed.
So… after my charming trip down memory lane I felt I had to purchase a couple of the books that I never owned. I imagine there are quite a lot in the series by now so had to stop myself from promising to purchase the entire collection, and rather rely on the library for them. I’ll bet my friends have some hidden away they can lend me too…
