I only have one course (Algorithms & Data Structures) I’m actively working on at the moment. It is not nearly enough (even though being able to really focus on it has been a boon).
I really need to start making plans for next autumn (maybe even summer?) so that I’ll be ready to tackle lots and lots of new classes and studies. I really NEED to make progress in mathematics and physics. I guess I’ll have to stop working full-time.. sigh, I have learned so much more while really doing the stuff I’m supposed to be studying now!

And the way to do it at the moment is to learn about Functional Programming. I feel that imperative languages can’t teach me anything really ground-breaking anymore: they’re all more or less the same. I’m still not completely sure whether to learn Haskell or OCaml though..

I already know C fairly well – well enough to get by. Truly mastering it is not going to help me that much with the projects I’m doing now. Python and Haskell are my two main languages these days.
