Wine is fascinating! So, I’d like to be better at understanding wines, how they are made, how different grapes and different terroirs affect the end product.
So far, I feel I’ve started on this goal. I have several wine books that I’ve read, and understand the basics of wine tasting. I’ve been to a large wine show in my town, I’ve been to Vinopolis in London, and I tasted a lot of wines when I was in Hungary summer of 2004.
Still, I feel I still lack the ability to describe and talk about wines in more than the basic way – this is probably something that needs practice, practice to get somewhere on.
