So I started school of as an ambitious Biology major. I wanted to be a dentist more than anything. After a year I realized that I didn’t like Biology as much as I liked it in High School. After doing some deep soul searching I realized that I really loved photography. I kept trying to fit it into my degree as a minor. One morning after going to a dreadful Bio-lab, I decided to go to the Advising office to switch my major to Photography! What a Switch!!

How I did it: I started by joining band in the 6th grade. I played all the way through my senior year of high school. French Horn is a difficult instrument, you absolutely have to love it other wise you may get frustrated and want to give up. Outside of playing everyday in school, I also practiced 4X a week at home. I’m 19 and still no License! I took the written part of drivers ed in high school but my school didn’t offer the behind the wheel portion. During my freshman year of college my roommate took the risk of teaching me how to drive. I feel like I’m an excellent driver I’ve driven during several long distance road trips.
