How I did it: Walked up to someone on a film set and asked if I could volunteer. They told me to go to the A.D. and tell him I was his cousin and wanted to intern. So they let me intern on the film for a month! I also signed up for film lectures that Moviemaker magazine was holding while it was still located in Seattle.
