i’ve been wanting to start a solo project for a long time. i just need to be more confident about the lyrics and my voice i guess. i’m also working on another band with my best friend. she’s gunna sing in that one and we’re planning on doing indie/twee/antifolk stuff. she wants me to write all the lyrics cuz she says i’m better than her at it.
i just need to write more songs!
so i guess my best friend and this other kid refer to me now as “teh babe” instead of maya. that’s a nickname, right? haha
