kinda of a lame goal compared to my others

I have been making an attempt to go back to the basics of who I am. I am making plans for next spring in my attempt to make a statement about how crappy riverside is treating its land and people and help bring back smiles to the locals and food for the homeless. I am trying to make scarves to give out as nice gifts during the winter season to the homeless. I am going to make major in social ecology and work for a non-profit to help children and the environment. I am slowly started to draw and read again and am making an effort to be more social. I am trying to see the beauty and be part os the solution instead of a person who just sits behind and complains.

82. When Tim brings me home bright yellow wildflowers and puts them in my vase for when I wake up in the mornings.
83. crocheting. Tina is teaching me so I can finally make scarves for the homeless and give them out for christmas.

71.) Noah Georgeson and Devendra Banhart. I really don’t feel like I need to explain why they are the most amazing men the world.
72.) Seeing Devendra on tour was AMAZING. I have never danced and sang so much in my entire life.The entire night was so surreal…wow. I don’t have enough room to talk about all the crazy shit that went down that night.
73.) Sleep overs at Lizzy Dear’s home. I broght over FOster’s home for imaginary friends to cheer her up. lovely.
74.) Making mix tapes for people. I really like spending so long picking out the perfect songs and then have the final product be wonderful and perfect for a person.
75.) Discovering that there are actually a lot of magazines out there I like they are just really tricky to find. I usually have to sit on the floor or cock my head completely sideways to find them but it’s worth it.

oi! Yoga has been kicking my posture’s ass I tell you. It’s like ballet all over shoulders rolled back for one hour plus.blah but good.

Sooooo Shery wants to do a make it yourself christmas (again) and I mean you can’t turn down a lady twice right? So I’m making my gifts this year. Super stoked :). Can’t say what I’m making on the doubtful chance someone actually reads this thing.

Started learning to knit this weekend yay. Haven’t learned to purl yet but will do

66.) Alex Howard. Even though half the time I think I may be annoying the hell out of him it’s nice to remember all the fun we had and the stupid things we used to do. I saw him last night and although his was reserved it was still nice to see him draw in his sketchbook.
67.) Starting school. I’m the type of person who does well under stress so starting a bunch of new classes and being busy 24/7 is a nice change from the lazy days of summer.
68.) Ginkgo. She my kitten. dave and Shery said I could keep her as a birthday gift. :)
69.) Jose. Even though we don’t see each other all the time it’s still a nice friendship. We laugh talk about everything and nothing.
70.) Going to art walk with jason. Ran into amy that was nice. It’s nice to go out and enjoy nighttime downtown.We came towards the end but still walking around with a good friend is relaxing and nice.

61.) Devendra Banhart. I’m so excited I get to see him for my birthday YAY
62.) Discoverig new music. there are so many great bands out there that I don’t even know about it’s amazing.
63.)Kittens. As much as I want to find them homes it’s to have a few cuddle up next to you at night for bedtime.
64.)Rico and Lizzy dear. They are some of the sweetest people I have the pleasure of knowing.
65.) Hearing about people’s travels to other parts of the world.

So I went to the public services office about one too many times proving random crap and dropping off stuff but it’s done. I just got my letter in the mail the other day I am approved for medical until I’m 21 which is in early october bah.Now all I have to do is wait for the card to come in.

So I do have this one skill that is very neat. I’m really good with hemp. I have a book on macramae and am going to teach myself new knots and see how many strings i can work with at the same time. I very excited. The problem however is that I don’t know what happened to all my hemp and beads.

So last thhursday I went to the beach with Tim and Shery and it was lovely. Tim and I built a sandcastle which I have to admit would never make it in a contest but whatever. The castle came complete with two bridges and one and a half moates. It was awesome and maybe next beach trip I’ll make another one.

So since the night of the last entry on this subject that I wrote I have stopped wearing a bra. I have only worn a bra once and that was to go to a job interview which hopefully went well. It is amazing how much more comfortable I am and more confident. It seems like I am not as shy about my body now. I accept it in all its’ womenliness and am very happy. The only thing is now I have to make sure I carry a sweater just in case it starts to get nippy. My friend Mia has also stopped wearing bras for the most part I believe. It’s not like I’m waearing jsut any shirt though I haven’t reached a point were I am that comfortable yet. I mean i have been wearing layers but maybe one day I’ll just be like fuck it I have boobs and everyone knows it so why not just wear a tank top without something on top?

So i took a box of dominoes and decided to make a gift out of them for my friend Mia. What I did was paint each domino and cut out pieces of designs and pictures to fit each domino’s back.After I found all the graphics that I believed Mia would like I Mod Podged each picture to its’ individual domino.Lastly I glued magnets to the back of them and Mia loves them :)
