I’m 5’5” and I currently weigh 186. Two months ago I weighed in at 208 lbs… so I’ve already lost 22 lbs, but I want to finally get to that ideal weight I’ve always wanted, (at least since puberty hit…lol). I went from being skinny and underweight at age 10 to being 20lbs overweight by the time I was 12 and I haven’t been able to be a normal weight since. It seemed like something always kept me from working very hard at it. I lost weight easily, but I gained it back ten times easier because I didn’t have the right motivation to carry me through.
Now I do. This is for me. To make me feel better, not to make other people happy. And I have goals other than just losing the weight… by October I want to be able to participate in an annual 9 mile city sponsored run.
