I found a Taiwanese student in my campus willing to help me practice my Chinese. I already met her twice, which has been a tremendous help for me. The thing that makes it even more amazing, is that there are only 5 Chinese/Taiwanese students here, about 150 local students studying Chinese- and I got the honor of getting some of her precious time- and Chinese is not even my major! (in fact, I don’t even study Chinese as part of my degree…)

All together I think I took about 60 lessons over three month, each 2 hours long.
Than Travelled Xinjiang and Tibet for two and a half month- for most people there its not a firts language, but I did get some good practice.
Still have a long way to go- I’m strugeling with basic conversation. And Its not going to be easy back home…
