How I did it: Being married forces you into a lot of situations you could have chose to avoid before. I have to say my social circles these days are much more varied (i.e some people are not artists and/or Californian) than they used to be. It's caused me to re-evaluate my comfort zones and my ways of measuring people. Having people 'get me' is also not a given, and I've had to pull back and realize that maybe I don't need that. How I did it: I was trying to find a cheap way to do this because winter was approaching and my husband and I still hadn't taken our vacation for the year (We're in France, so it's normal to take vacation every year) heh. I found eurolines.com and bought us two passes for 30 days and we fit as many trips in as was comfortable.
