How I did it: I took my computer to Simply Computing, ran the diagnostics, and paid for the parts that I needed. It sucked and was terribly expensive and inconvenient...not to mention that my entire hard drive was wiped out so I lost all pictures, music, and documents. (No, of course they weren't backed up!)
