How I did it: I had to go to the Courthouse to fill out paperwork, then go to the Sheriff's Department to be fingerprinted and have a background check ran, then back to the Courthouse to finish the paperwork process. Then all of the paperwork was sent to the GBI for final processing. Read how I did it…
You don’t realize the peace and serenity that Nature can provide to you until you no longer have it. When the opportunity arose to move back closer to home and family, nine hours closer, it was an easy decision … but, it meant giving up my farm and all of the peaceful tranquility that was embodied in that 107 year old farmhouse and property.
My goal … find and purchase another farm!
It was a dream-house … 107 year old Victorian farmhouse with acreage - lots of moldings, woodwork, hardwood flooring, six mantles, large staircase - great old house.
We lived there for one year, did a lot of renovations, and had the opportunity to move back closer to home (9 hours south). Sold the house/property for a large profit, and moved south.
We’ll do it again sometime in the future, I’m sure.
