Work on my Burning Man projects (read all 6 entries…)
Lots of activity on this in the last few weeks

I’ve done a lot towards this goal. The major work has been done on my el-wire project which is about 3/4 of the way done now. I’ve finished the jacket unless I want to add one more piece of el-wire and I have one leg to do on my pants. I really like the way one side of the jacket turned out and think the other side is good enough. My wife and dressed in our el-wire costumes this weekend (hers is complete) at a party and everyone thought they were great. I can’t wait until mine is done.

We also went fabric shopping for playa wear and we found some great pink, sparkly, furry cloth that will be one of my pairs of pants. We also got some great fabric for shirts. I learned how to cut the material out for a pattern and cut out my pants material.

I also finished my main daytime hat and like the way it turned out.

I will eventually post pictures but not yet.

This goal was too restrictive

I haven’t been on 43things recently partially due to this goal. I couldn’t think of a new way to give cheers and I felt the pressure of working on this goal if I got on. I think that dropping the goal will increase my enjoyment of this site and get me back here regularly again.

Extra gym time this week

My wife has been teaching classes this week on the nights I hit the gym. Since she doesn’t get home until after I normally would I added 30 minutes to my gym night Monday and 45 minutes tonight. I also started early today, so it was a very full workout. I climbed for 3 hours and 20 minutes tonight and boy can I feel it. I normally climb for about 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
