I was very proud of myself (a math idiot child) for learning, but I will say that…

...once you memorize the algorithms, there’s nothing to it. It just takes a bit of patience to get the algorithms right.

Why not, you know? It’s not the end of the world if you do it and the adrenaline rush adds to the excitement. No one’s getting hurt and everyone’s having a good time. Unless you’re kissing your best friend’s boyfriend, (in which case you pretty much suck as a person) I’m all for letting your hair down and swapping a little spit!

I went out for a karaoke night with some friends and some friends of friends and so on and I did my first on my own karaoke (usually we drink too much and end up collectively doing things no one knows the words to anyway like ‘It’s the End of the World As We Know It’ and ‘Blinded by the Light.’) I’m glad I did it, but I’ll never do it again. All those people looking at me was really not my thing. At least now I know I’ll never give up my life to join a rock band!
