Last year, I sat down with a journal at Starbucks and four hours later came out with a list of realistic goals and some direction for the year. I had even prayed and asked God to develop ONE character quality in me that year and that would be the focus. The character quality was discipline. As I wrote out my goals, it was evident that was lacking in many areas.
Shortly after, I joined a gym and began working out with my friend Kelli 5 days a week at 6am. The first few weeks were a beating, but I was committed and so was she. 20 lbs. later (I’m about halfway to my goal), I feel better than I ever have before.

Out of Galveston, into Mexico!

I went this last weekend on a 5 day cruise to Playa del Carmen. It was a great vacation. The service was top notch, the food unbelieveable, and it was so relaxing. And actually quite affordable if you are close to a port. I hope to do it again someday.
I did it!

I got to try SCUBA diving while on a cruise last weekend. It was amazing. Since it was a beginner’s class, we only went about 10 feet… In the Caribbean, it doesn’t matter – 10 feet was AMAZING! I want to get certified and dive more. I highly recommend it if you ever get the chance.
