I'm doing 35 things
Ok… I was working on the exams. I can pass the exam, but I choose not to. Why? Because the exam is good for two years. And I need to get the employment/residence end of my life in order. I don’t want to take the exam to have it go out of validity or pass my check-ride just to have my license expire 6 months after I get it.

How I did it: I did this by accident. I was preparing Layered Pickled Herring Salad with Tart Apples and Red Onion (see epicurious.com) and one step was to soak 1/8" thick slices of cucumber overnight in a mixture of 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar 3/4 cup water 1/3 cup sugar 2 teaspoons pickling spice 1 teaspoon salt.
