How I did it: Considered what I wanted to be done, figured the cost, ran it by my husband, and got to work.1) Organized bathroom shelves (used clear labels to label plastic drawers)2) Organized pantry (used clear labels to label jars)3) Organized closets (canvas baskets from Walmart for sweaters, bedding, etc; color coded labels for each family member)4) Threw away many, many things that I wanted to keep for future use but ran out of space for in the present Read how I did it…
How I did it: I went through Picasa and tagged all of the photos for children that weren't mine. Then I exported them to a fold and made a separate folder for each child. We built and installed a pot rack yesterday. The ones in the store were well over $100, but we built ours for about $30. It looks great and clears up a lot of clutter!
Coming soon:
We have been without a couch for over two weeks, but it looks like Thursday is going to be the day to get a great deal.
There are two places in particular that I feel would benefit from a little color, maybe tiles or a painting. 1) behind the pot rack, 2) behind the toaster.
The clock needs to be repaired and the glass in John’s lamp needs to be replaced.
Do this as a mother’s day project for Jeannie, Melissa, Nat, Bernice and Brenda. Write date on the back of the printed photo and include CD of pictures and movies.
