How I did it: It took a long time, I know. I was getting used to this new campus and I couldn't visit my old one. Anyway, It's enrollment period again and I'm pretty sure she's swamped and strung-out once again. So I asked a former classmate of mine to buy flowers for me, and sent a note she could insert. I said thanks for helping out and that even if the students are sometimes difficult, we still appreciate and remember how she helps us. It was anonym… Read how I did it…

Lornie. She works for my college secretary in my former campus. We used to be OK, whenever I asked for certain papers she’d be all sunny and happy. When I went to her office to ask for papers to facilitate my transfer, I thought she’d be the same. I thought all the rumors that they hated those who plan to transfer wouldn’t apply.
But oh, heck no.
When she found out I was planning to transfer, she morphed into this dragon. Sucked the life out of me, the warmth from the room. A dementor on steroids.
Anyway, I got my papers.. And I realize that behind all of that coldness, she did help. Life’s not easy for her, everyone in school hates her guts, pay’s not that good, and she’s supposed to cater to the whole student population if it needs her. Dude.
I plan to make her smile. I don’t know.. Chocolates? A thank-you note? Flowers?
I’m transferring to a new campus next semester. I have to get over the whole culture shock phenom, find a way not to get lost from building to building (I wish, haha.), and make next sem totally LEGENDARY! booyah.
