How I did it: I didn't know exactly what I wanted to do, but I knew I always liked art, so I've been going to arts impacted schools since elementary. I didn't discover much until high school, where one day, after years and years of trying every new visual art form to pass my way, I found that comic arts, illustration, and 3D animation gave me the most joy out of all of them. How I did it: Planet Fitness is really inexpensive. $10/month. Ya gotta love it.Joining a gym isn't hard at all. What's difficult is having the motivation to keep going. Once you have your membership, you suddenly WANT to go to work/do your homework/hang out with your cousins/finish that Great American Novel/everything BUT what you're paying a monthly fee for. How I did it: First I took a year and a half of Japanese classes in community college, for the basics. I kept the textbooks and do the exercises in them occasionally. But the books aren't everything. Well, that was stupid. I bought a SEXY silver Honda del Sol with butterfly doors, but it was a stick shift so I needed my then-boyfriend to teach me to drive it. He crashed it before I ever got behind the wheel. :(
