I’ll exercise, eat oatmeal, avoid all the cholesterol heavy foods etc. I’ll have a blood test in February ‘09.
I spent a year in Spain and it made learning Spanish a lot easier. I think one more year would have perfected my Spanish, but the demands of life and the need for money took charge. I was in Barcelona before the internet really took off, so I didn’t have the opportunity to use all the great stuff that is out there now. Living in a Spanish-speaking country is the best way to learn. If you can’t can’t do that, then start by taking a class, read a Spanish newspaper (La Vanguardia por ejemplo, El Pais, o La Nacion-Argentina), listen to Spanish radio (RNE-Radio Nationael de Espana), and watch Spanish television. Do as much as you can do with the language. Make friends and hang out with people who speak the language (intercambio), and study, study, and more study! Buenos suerte!
