I’ve been wanting a new tattoo for a long time now, but I knew I wanted it to be truly special and one-of-a-kind (like the man himself). I have some ideas and need to start sketching them out. I’d like to have this tat completed by the time I take my trip to So Cal on Spring Break 2010.

I adore Elliott Smith and would love to pay him homage at Solutions Studio.

I already have a trip to Southern California in the works. My daughter will be four and I’m taking her to Disneyland. I haven’t been there since I was 16, and I know she’s gonna love it! It’s going to be a wonderful vacation for the both of us & going to the Elliott Smith memorial will be the icing on the cupcake :)

Dearest Elliott, if only you could see this. You were too pure for this hateful world, but we were blessed with your presence for a short while. You’ve saved so many lives with your songs and to me you are eternal. I know you were a spiritual person, and I could never begin to understand the turmoil that you must have suffered through to make such a drastic choice. My heart is yours & I pray that someday I will see my mother, grandmother, and you in heaven.
