Since deciding to be vegetarian, I’ve had a really interesting and fun month of cooking. I’ve started exploring new foods and have found a great source of health and comfort in all of the natural plant foods. Mark Bittman’s How To Cook Everything Vegetarian has been beyond helpful and has made for countless delicious meals.

How I did it: Considering that I already own a ton of 80's movies, this was pretty easy. The biggest challenge was making the time and then deciding which movies I wanted to watch. I began by trying to teach myself to play. In retrospect, I wasn’t doing too bad, buy it was pretty overwhelming. So, a few weeks ago, I signed up for lessons. I realize that it’s a long road and that I have a long to learn, but the lessons are really helping and I’m finding myself getting attached to playing.
I took my first step yesterday and bought a sewing machine. Now, I just need to get past my fear that I’ll break it.
