I actually rode an elephant in India while visting the Amber palace in Jaipur. They’re really big once you’re up there! Now, if I could just meet a baby elephant, my heart would be set.

How I did it: Wrote almost every day. No outlining, just brainstorming while driving, gardening, etc., and then back to the computer. Drive and a lot of tenacity is what's needed to do this day after day without feeling burnt out but in the moment, with all the words together, flowing from your fingers, the process is exhilerating, a real rush...almost, I might say, like adrenaline sports.
