For the last two years my children and I have attended and marched in the PRIDE parade here in Tulsa. We have a blast doing it and I think it’s important for people to get out in support of what you believe in. I married with two kids, I am currently in a heterosexual relationship and some people would ask me why I brought my kids to “this kind” of event. My response is, this is my family values. This is what I want to teach my children, this is what I want to teach others. Diversity is a good thing, love is wonderful in all forms, everyone has the right to be and live and love whoever they want to.

We have been talking about getting pets (other than fish) since we moved into the townhouse. I had even said that I would love to have a cat like this stray we took care of for awhile. Loki was a tabby point who lived on our porch for about 2 weeks. Then my friend posted on a yahoo group about a stray kitten that had followed her home :). She was looking for a forever home for her b/c she already had two cats and a dog. I knew this was my cat! She is a very very light cream tabby with seal points and white socks and the bluest eyes. Her name is Luna and we’ve had her about a week now. She’s very playful, and vocal when she wants to be petted.
