you’d think at this point in my life, i’d know. but … unfortunately, i still flounder…i work hard, but it’s a job i hate. it’s meaningless in the scheme of things, but it’s $$ right now and health insurance which is important. i want a career that’s meaningful … that contributes something to life … that will matter that i did it … which is not at all what i’m doing now. i especially hate the position i’m in where the people i work ‘for’ treat me like the hired help … this is the first position i’ve had in all my years of working where i worked for people who had to ‘keep me down’ in order to build themselves up. what a rude awakening …

good question … my days are spent in the office…in the car…in the house…whatever happened to spending time outside in nature? in the fresh air … in the peacefulness of god’s creation.
i saw someone else say they want to workout without the thought of losing weight … of simply being healthy. while i definitely want to lose weight, my ultimate goal is to be lean, strong, and healthy. i read an article about breaking down goals …
goal = make it a habit (something i do as simply part of my daily routine and not think about it) to use the treadmill at least 4 times per week
up a step goal = i want to use the treadmill to get in shape.
another step up goal = i want to get in shape so i can move freely.
another step up goal = i want to get in shape to move freely so i can enjoy life to it’s fullest.
another step up goal = i want to get in shape to move freely so i can enjoy life to it’s fullest so i can do things i put off doing ‘until i lose weight’.
ultimately…i want to be lean strong and healthy so i can really start living my life.
